Hello, I understand that first of all we need to know how the future price of the Underlying security is going to be bullish or bearish or neutral…..Then after finding out the trend we have to select the strategies…..I am really having trouble here in really correct trend…..

If you are successful option trader How do you come to conclusion that you are going to bet the price of security is bullish or bearish or neutral?What Kind of analysis you do?Do you use put/call ratio like something as a Indicator for confirming the trend?Please share your ideas How to Jump to conclusion to bet that product’s price will be bullish or bearish or neutral?Please explain to me in simplae and clear way……I do not have trouble in selecting the strategy after find the trend ie, bullish or bearish or neutral……I need some experienced Option trader’s confirmation for the basement of selecting the trend?

Trading indicators are best used along with money management and good risk control, using trading indicators alone will not enable you to be a successful trader, even if you learn everything about futures trading indicators the market is just too random and unless risk is controlled, over time your account will slowly get wiped out, regardless how good a “trader” you think you are.

Is it a good time to buy Churchill Downs stock right NOW?

Bit of a horse racing/investing question. The reason why I ask is that it was recently reported that the Breeders’ Cup board announced it is "exploring the possibility of using a single host site for all future Breeders’ Cup events."

The theory makes much sense seeing that Churchill is not on either coastline. Now Churchill is a publicly traded company, and I would think that the Breeders Cup if held there each year, as well as Breeders Cup memoribilia sales would greatly increase Churchill’s year over year bottom line financially.

Wall Street is usually quick to pick up on these things, but yet the idea (if it happens) hasn’t been reflected in the stock price that I can see, which could either be an indicator it’s not going to happen or that many on Wall Street and in finance are "asleep at the wheel" on this one.

What do you all involved with horse racing think?

Using Trader’s Pivots?

Does anyone WHO ACTUALLY TRADES with REAL MONEY (preferably commodities and futures) use floor trader pivots? The pivot is roughly calculated by taking the high, low, and close and dividing it by three right? How are the supports and resistance level calculated from there? Also, what time increments are you watching while in a trade and using this indicator?

Futures and Fair Value in the pre-market?

On CNBC in the morning they show you fair value and futures. I thought that just the futures indicate where the market will open. But then the people on-air, add the two indicators(i think). Why do they add them and how is fair value traded(since it goes up and down like futures)

Early in my investing career I quickly lost 8,000 in every market you can think of. Since then I have learned how to read financial reports, understand the effects of geoploitical situations throughout the world and I have extensively studied technical analysis (patterns, support/resistance, indicators based on oscillations & candlesticks).

I’m a CFP, and have been very successful in the past two years. I have netted a 8637% gain on my personnel investment. I rarely hold an investment more then 20 trading days and quickly drop any investment where I had an incorrect read.
