How much money could I make day trading stocks?

I’m new to stocks and am just starting to learn the ins and outs…because I’m a beginner I just want to start off day trading maybe 100 bucks worth of a stock to get the hang of it…how much could I make by just selling high and buying low all throughout the day?

This question is for those familiar with technical charts. In a bull market when selecting a stock, does setting a buy stop price a little above resistance, selecting a stock that’s currently above 30-day moving average and the MA is trending up, and relative strength indicator is also trending up mean that there is a good if not strong possibility that the stock will break out to a new high? Conversely, does a stock that’s broken through support and trending below 30-day moving average usually mean that the stock is more likely than not to fall to new lows? Thanks!

Could you suggest a stock technical analysis software that fits me?

I’m looking for a software with all the common technical analysis indicators, that easily loads up data for any given stock on the NASDAQ or NYSE.

Like if I put in a ticker, and specify the indicators I want, I’d like the software to show me where the indicator stands for each trading day. Also, I don’t know if this is possible, but it’d be a tremendous help if the software has some sort of scanner that I could tell to scan for stocks that have had a certain indicator ranging from x to y for the past z number of days or something like that.

Any suggestions?

Besides MACD and slow stochastics, what are other indicators you find useful for trading stocks?

I find that when the MACD is above the zero line, the stock tend to go up in the long term. When slow stochastics is low and about to go back up, that’s a good time to buy. I also go by the economic calendar and wait for important economic data before I buy or short.

What constitutes a day-trade as it pertains to the SEC day-trading rule?

Okay so if I buy a stock and I sell it in the same day, is that the only way it would be considered a day-trade? Are options subject to this rule as well.

Also, the five day period: is that Mon-Fri, or is that five consecutive trading days?

Does Investors find that pre-market trading as a leading indicator for regular hours trading. Also, does Investors use the data to judge the strength of buying in the stock at the time of regular market open.

i have been doing day trading for about a year but i am busy and dont have time to sit and watch the stocks everyday. now i am trying to use another way to make some money and that is to buy a stock and hold it for a few days or a week and make some money from it. i am using MACD, STOCKASTIC, RSI and support level to make a predication when will the stock bounce back for a few days. i tried once and i was able to make 0 on a 00 investing in a week.

what other things i have to look at it to make sure it will bounce back. like at what number should all these three indicator be when i buy a stock.
if u can explain it in detail that would be better. thanks

What Indicators do you look for on Stock, when Trading in the Stock Market ?!?

I am a Beginner Investor, and only know to Buy Low & Sell High.
I have found a Nice trend to trade on, and 2 companies which Oppose one another (BAC & SKF).

Now, when looking at the Numbers of Volume, Avg Vol., Net Assets & Yield, what determines what is going On with the Stock in that Company.

What determines how many people are Buying, Selling, and when to Buy or Sell?!?
I know that there is some Way to determine these types of Indicators, but I don’t know how to properly Use them.

If someone (an Experienced Investor) can tell me, or show me a Link to a Website that would Explain this, that would be Awesome!

I only want Legitimate answers Only!!

If a Stock is Trending DOWN (SELL and WAIT)
If a Stock is in a Trading Range (TRADE it) – Buy Low, Sell High.
