Thinkorswim Scan MACD RSI Squeeze



Free custom indicator included, and linked below. One of our viewers contacted us via Facebook page asking for help with a custom scan on the Thinkorswim trading platform. The request was to demonstrate how to combine three indicators into a single scan. The specified indicators are the standard MACD, and RSI along with the *TTM Squeeze©. The viewer states he was struggling to get the three indicators to work in a custom scan. This video, titled “Thinkorswim Scan MACD RSI Squeeze”, will demonstrate step-by-step the process of creating the customer indicator (linked below). Once created, the indicator is then used to create a custom scan. You will see how these three indicators fit together (or not!). As the custom scan is assembled you will get to examine the output for each of the filters. By the end of the video you will understand how to put it all together and run the scan yourself.   2. Pete, can this scan be changed to look for stocks whose MACD is 0 or above the 0 level?

  4. I'm having a problem setting up the scan.  I can input basic scanning info and always get the "no matching symbols."  I have enough memory on my Mac Pro.  Any and all assistance is appreciated!!!

  6. not sure if anyone else has this problem but I can seem to get my personal indicator to work, my squeeze MACD RSI literally just replicates the RSI indicator and doesnt produce the straight triangles, here is my code if anyone could tell me whats wrong id appreciate it thank you!

  7. My chart looks very different from this and I have the code exactly the same. Ive checked several times over. Theres also 2 lines in it??

  8. I have your scan in my downloads but when i attempt to open it, it says " This file isn't playable. That might be because the file type is unsupported, the file extension is incorrect, or the file is corrupt. I have downloaded other files of yours and haven't had this problem. Any help is advised. Jim

  9. question, can you set these up to trigger a alert when this condition takes place? i have a divergence study that i got from a third party and as long as i have the study loaded on the chart and the chart open, it'll alert me when a DIVERGENCE is triggered. if so can you help set that up?
