Trading indicators are best used along with money management and good risk control, using trading indicators alone will not enable you to be a successful trader, even if you learn everything about forex indicators the market is just too random and unless risk is controlled, over time your account will slowly get wiped out, regardless how good a “trader” you think you are.

What is the link between an improving economy and rising govt. bond yields?

Happy Christmas and New year to all.

I’m learning about forex and the book that I am reading (Forex for Dummies) mentions rising 10-year government bond yields as a possible indicator of a currency that may be on the way up in relative value. The logic is that the increase in bond yield indicates a rising economy and therefore a greater possibility of an interest rate increase at some point in the future in order to keep a tab on inflation. Therefore more buying interest in the currency now and a rising relative currency value.

The link that I cannot make is the link between the rising economy and the rising bond yield. Is it because people are dumping bonds and buying stocks instead, thus pushing the bond price down and the relative value of the yield up. Or what?

I’m Looking at a few systems out there and i’m thinking about purchasing centralcps , from what i see in there free videos there method seem straight forward and realistic and just wanted to know what type of post support they provide there members and other benefits i might obtain from this company central cps. it looks like they also have a strong brand name and other forex related tools that seems to be well made like Black Box And Octave. not just videos and basic indicators but actual software thats can run on other market besides forex like stocks , energy , futures and more… waiting for responses from actual users. thanks !

I have successfully installed Forex Strategy Builder but I have not idea how to use the software to test my strategies, in terms of how to make the simulated market work, how to place buy and sell orders, and how to add and remove indicators. I have tried using the help tool that came with the software but it just explains what everything is, it does not show me how to use the software. I need to know how to use it. I have gone through many forex systems and indicators. All of them lag, and most of them really do not tell you when to buy or sell. They basically display an oscillator or lines etc and you have to figure out when to buy and sell. I must say that the system called the fx-agency advisor 2 does everything for me. It displays nothing but entries on currency pairs and stocks. I can view all pairs on a single chart. I can disable the candlestick charts so all I have to look at is a nice black background with entries.

I have not seen anything better than it. Has anyone else??
