I seriously think I can make a fortune in forex trading?

Well i have been learning about stock trading for 6 years and have developed a good system. Forex is a little different. I started last january. i blew up within weeks because i was uing 400:1 leverage. i also wasent cutting my losses. Anyway through some experience i think i have it a ltitle figured out. What i have to do is wait patiently for a trend to form and act on it. I have about 500 in my account right now trading 50:1.. i cut my loses at 20 pips and let my profits run. until there is a reversal. ii incorperate the fibonacci retracement signals amounst a few ocilattors/indicators. I also keep an eye out on the news that would affect a currency pair. I have also read a few forex traders turning a couple grand into 10s of thousands their first year. I honestly believe this can be me.. can any experienced forex trader advise me?
uhh its actually a minus sum gamethe winner does not make all the money with slippage and commissions look up alexander elder.

Trading indicators are best used along with money management and good risk control, using trading indicators alone will not enable you to be a successful trader, even if you learn everything about forex trading indicators the market is just too random and unless risk is controlled, over time your account will slowly get wiped out, regardless how good a “trader” you think you are.

i need an opinion on a forex strategy i use. here is what i use my time frame is the daily charts and i only trade the majors i use the following indicators Heiken-Ashi, and a 5 day on the open & 6 day on the close EMA plus a MACD and the ADX indicators on the bottom and i trade the crossovers is there anyone here that trades the forex with a similar setup what im looking for is just some opinions from some more experienced forex traders ive been back testing this for a couple of months and seems to be profitable but maybe i might just be missing something a more knowledgeable forex trader might be able to help me tweak it some more i realize there is no holy grail but any opinions would be greatly appreciated thank you for your time ive traded stocks for 30 years but the forex is a whole new ballgame

I JUST NEED SOME HELP, and there is just so much GARBAGE on the net claiming to Be winning strategies, but I am already too old, and I don’t have the time to waste trying to figure out what works. I need to go DIRECTLY to what works!

I know that no strategy is garunteed, but can you tell me what is working for you!

I traded succesfuly in a demo account for 3 months, now if i can make a 10 % monthly accumulated, then it seems like i can score a million in 4 or 5 years. now what’s the catch ??

i use scalping and also trade in 15 min frame trading, use several indicators, now there are several miths (or thuths i dont know) out there about forex: it’s a zero sum game !!! ecn dont manipulate your prices like market makers do!!! forex is a scam they hunt your stops and or manipulate prices, they delay your orders !! when you start making a lot of money they close your account !! they dont let you withdraw your money!!

It takes a little comon sense to realize that it is not a zero sum game since a currency pair that moves 100 pips in one direction from 1.2810 to 1.2910 ten guys can make ten pips each buying and selling each other. and even the last guy could probably buy for a longer position and hold for days or weeks with larger stops.

I also heard that things changes when you move from a demo to a real live account: with slippage and other problems.
Now with so many scams it is hard to make a desicion about what broker to choose.
FXCM, CITI, SAXO, CMC, CMS, OANDA, ETORO, FOREX.COM, GFT. Seems to be the best rated, but then again is so easy to fake a review, plus i found all of them to have negative reviews in some websites.

CFTC investigated more than 80 cases involving the defrauding of more than 23,000 customers who lost 0 million.

You know, i’ve been trading for at least more than 2 years. Literally, i’ve been sitting on the computer at least 6 hours a day. There was not one day, that I didnt sit on the computer studying the market. I’ve bought many things, and got scammed with my money. I’ve deposited money that was my monthly’s salary, and lost all of those money, down to less than a dollar. I’ve tried every indicator there is. I retested one month, last month, thought it would refresh my mind, and give me good ideas. No, not at all, it didn’t help. So, is threre anyone out there, that could help me? I promise, if you want me to keep it a secret, I will be glad to, I promise. But, if you want me to spread it, I will too. I keep promises, trust me. Right now, I am writing and studying the market, losing 0 on a position right now.

I don’t know what to do. Can anyone out there, be really nice to someone in need, I would be the happiest man in history. I am in huge debt, I don’t know what to do. Please!

I have several people using my charts and indicators to trade. A lot of these people ask if I can recommend a good broker for trading on the Foreign Currency Exchange (forex). I’d like to associate myself with a good broker who offers an IB program – basically, an affiliate or referral program, whereby they sign up to my broker that I have a deal with, and I get a "kickback" from the commission.

It is possible to trade forex based on news and indicator? I want to trade forex by the information by news of either buy or sell, and then I analyze by using 9 indicator. If 5 signal sell, 4 signal buy I would buy. Can I make profit, regardless high and low?

Forex and Stock Traders that have success. I know that You won’t tell me how to actually trade Your system or method, but i am just saying,….it would be a really good thing if You did. Hi all, a few days later while i was surfing the net i found a free forex trading strategy,the strategy is to set on 1hr chart 3EMA indicators one with a white color the others with red and blue colors.
in addition we set the MACD and stochastic indicators.

How to automate strategy back-testing in Forex Trading?

I am aware of MQL4. One can create an expert advisor to automate your investing, but what I want is to test my strategies with historical data. For example, what would have happen during the last 5 months if I would have sold here and bought here using such and such indicators in every single time a certain criteria was met.

Is there a way to do this using MQL4? or is there any other way to do back-testing in Forex?

I read that most people that start out in FOREX do not do well. I started a practice account and looked at trends from the month chart down to the sixty minute chart buying into trends while keeping a good margin. I also read what the indicators do.
